Shirt Sizes

For Ready To Wear Shirts each Collar Size has a corresponding Chest size and Sleeve length. When a new shirt is received the actual collar measurement will be up to 1/2" (1.3cm) larger. This allowance is for shrinkage, which happens to all fine quality cotton during its first few washes. The sizes stated below for the chest and sleeve measurements are the actual garment measurements. We recommend 6” to 8” (15.2cm to 20.3cm) over a customer’s chest measurement to allow for freedom of movement.

By way of example a 16 1/2” collar shirt would be made with an actual collar size of up to 17”, which allows for 1/2” shrinkage after washing. The corresponding garment chest size of 50 1/4” allowing for 1/2” shrinkage and 6” to 8” for freedom of movement would equate to a customer chest measurement of between 41 3/4” and 43 3/4”. The corresponding garment sleeve measurement of 36” would be expected to shrink by up to 7/8” to 35 1/8” after a few washes.

Look up your shoe size and then move left to pick the correct sock size under the appropriate Sock Type.

Please note that there is no real international standard for shoe sizing and all the conversions are best estimates. If in doubt between  two sizes it is best to choose the larger.
